Mitsuji Ikutani, the first president, established the Ikutani Pipe Factory in the present location of Head Office and start manufacturing steel pipes.
The type of product was changed to the manufacture of cold, solid-drawn pipes.
Incorporated Sumiyoshi Kokan Co., LTD. by merging the Ikutani Pipe Factory, Nagano Pipe Factory (Nishinari-ku, Osaka), and the Maruichi Pipe Factory (Higashinari-ku, Osaka).
Constructed and started operations at the Izumi-Otsu Factory.
Head Office Factory was approved as meeting JIS requirement.
Moved the main machinery at the Izumi-Otsu Factory to the Sakai Factory, which was under construction.
Added a 2nd plant at the Sakai Factory.
Completed moving the main Factory to the Sakai Factory.
The Sakai Factory was approved as meeting JIS requirement.
